Reading my daughter's blog and journal reminds me of what is important in life: connection, family.
At some point she writes that unless you have a family base, a place you operate from, you can just pick up and go at the precise moment that you'd have to face the very thing that makes you feel uncomfortable.
When we apply courage and heart, and shine the light of awareness on what lies hidden in the dark, we can only be victorious. Loved Ones can be the impetus for us to stay and face the places that hurt. They also have the salve which can soothe the pain: Love.
I am grateful to have Loved Ones and to be One.
This is a happy day.

Inspiration comes easy....in a dream
Dreamed about the light, white mountain top enclave. My friend Tom hangs out there, he's got the key to all the cool environments. A bright art studio, a bathroom half indoor and outdoor with the coolest bathtub and rocks. grand living room sunk into the granit rockbed of the mountain....meadows and LOT os space for the few people who live and work here.
What do I best want and focus my vital energies on...family and friends.
Cooking and food. Eating and exercising. Meditating and singing music for the soul.
OK.
So be it!

Springtime, time to wish and vision
This is the best year of my life. I am turning 50, my daughter is getting married to the right person...Her father is turning 60...we are all healthy, happy and hello, a great family, a masterpiece of nature.
My thoughts on money sound scrambled below.
Here is a re-articulation: Just as electricity animates and enables machines and gadgets to what they are created for, money animates and enables our lives to what we are created for. It is sacred, natural and plentiful.
When we live the purpose we are here for, when we follow our natural blueprint, all the money we need to live and thrive appears, just like electricity flows when conneections are made in the wiring. It's a bit like the effort and Grace metaphor. Two wings of a bird...with the right effort there is electricity. with the right effort, there is Grace. Where there is Grace there is money as needed.

Steve Jobs, please design a car for us...
For the past 20 years or so, I had a hunch that all designs and inventions having to do with 'green energy' cars and low carbon footprint have been bought up and either destroyed or put away in corporate HQ safes. Bought up by:.........
If there is one person who would get away with designing and selling a 'no emissions' car, perfect for our daily transportation requirements....it would be sTEve JObs.
Let him know if you agree...i-carriage...i-car.
All of computer technology can easily be used to build a buggy for us to get to the food store, the gym, yoga class, school, the mall, the office, Costco, the outdoors, hot springs and gourmet restaurant.
Steve would do a tremendous JOBs. Voice controlled exhilaration and brake response with sensors. Comfy ergonomic seating, GPS system, automated steering. We could do all our online biz while getting from A to B...Please ask him if he would...

Standing on my own, strong and fine, like that cool bamboo in the tropics
Long walk with my fellow sadhaka Libby Pink. As she tells me that in between the lines, I am telling her that what i am looking for in a man is someone who will take care of me....thunderbolt and lightning strikes...I just saved a hundred and fifty clams not going to a therapist....
I need to redirect the trajectory of intention of trying to create a daddy who will Love and cherish me.
Love and cherish myself, experiencing that strength and lightness of being.
Like that really cool bamboo I love so much in the tropics.
Also discovered a pond of resentful resolve to have that daddy no matter what the cost.
Recognizing that I have way too much energy invested in this resentful revenge inspires me to take the right steps toward freedom.
In this freedom there is enough energy to create a wonderful easful and fine life for who I am supposed to be. To live my purpose. Gee, let me make a resolve then.
Make an effort Grace can't refuse and steer the trajectory toward the greatest I can possibly be.
Ahhh, Libby. Sunset walk in the Marina with someone who loves life as much as I do.
Wonderful new moon power wishing day.

Let me be content then and surrender to the silent elegant death of a small sad ego.
May we be content and have the courage to live the life of our boldest, most colorful brightest dreams.
May it be so.

Relaxing hollywood style...or so
The water really is super nice and I have been soaking for over three hours today in Al Capone's secret getaway resort of some sort. What's up with using a notorious gangster as your patron in a silent retreat style resort.
Where the bunnies frolic at sundown on the meadows, the burrowing owl flutters about like an old friend and the coyote coaxes you to find his tracks in the oasis sand.
Some relaxation this is....I NEED to relax, fast!
Ha, the irony....living in a Yoga retreat meditation place where I practice full time selfless service to my Guru and I am in a hurry to relax and clear my mind...to get my money's worth.
Ah, money, what it is worth. What it is.
Energy spent, invested, gained, circulated, currency.
Like electricity it lights up appliances. Bringing to life that which we want to work...
Money is the electricity of our culture. It can bring to live that which we believe in....gotta learn to articulate that one. To my Self. It's worth the contemplation.
RELAX, the mind begs, and I shall comply.
